Must be able to learn provided NYU Songs, American Songbook Standards, and Original Comedy Songs

Follows cues of Music Director

Singer-Dancer / Company Member

Able to Sing and Dance in Musical Numbers, Show Theme Song, and Transition Numbers resembling numbers performed on early television programs like Your Show of Shows, The Danny Kaye Show, and more.
Ability to learn lines and act in skits and routines
Ability to Tap Dance preferred (but not completely necessary)
Must be willing to rehearse several times per week in order to learn new numbers and choreography.
Attends weekly meetings, speciality Music/Dance Rehearsal, full show rehearsals, and show taping
Choreographer
Audition/Portfolio Required
Choreographs dance numbers featured throughout the show
Ability to Tap Dance and choreograph Tap steps preferred
Willing to become familiar with dance styles used on early television variety shows like Your Show of Shows, The Danny Kaye Show, and more in order to choreograph accordingly
May also be one of the 4 Company Members
Must teach other company members choreography
Responsible for running and organizing Dance/Music Rehearsals
Able to learn songs used for the show quickly

Posts all social media ads online
Follows, maintains, and updates Social Media Calendar
Creates advertisements, stationary, etc. using the show’s Manual of Standards
Manages Social Media profiles (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Manages Show’s Email Account
Creates Highlight Clips from previous shows and posts online
Posts physical ads around campus advertising upcoming shows
Manages additional Marketing and promotional plans
Announces available tickets to student body, and responds to ticket requests
Answers audience questions via the Show’s Email
Checks tickets before the show and instructs audience about show policies
Attends weekly meetings, rehearsal, and show taping
Director / Tech. Director / Editor
Responsible for directing all visual elements used on the show
Sets of video equipment, cameras, and control room
Controls Video Switcher during the show and rehearsals
Directs Camera Operators, Stage Manager, Graphics, Sound, and Lighting
Edits each episode of the show
Edits Highlight Clips used to promote upcoming shows
Responsible for storage and transportation of all technical equipment

Responsible for all lighting equipment used on the show
Notes lighting cues during the Read-Thru

Operates lighting equipment during rehearsals and show taping

Music Director
Responsible for all music played and performed on the show
Decides on order of songs for the transitions, and teaches songs to the Singer-Dancers and the band
Organizes all of the Music documents (Sheet Music, Lyric Sheets, Audio Recordings, etc.) for every song
Oversees and runs the Music and Dance Rehearsals
Directs the band during the Taping
Attends weekly meetings, rehearsal, and show taping
Teleprompter Operator
Responsible adjusting the script to fit the format used by the Teleprompter Software
